I got really busy this weekend (Easter production at my church) but I wanted to thank you all for the tips that you've given me. Vinny, the video was great and I appreciate you taking the time to do that for me. I think that the main problem that I had was that I was holding on too tight. I'm still practicing to get just the right amount of pressure, but it will come.
Thanks again to all those that have helped with this! Please don't let this end the thread though. There is a lot of good info and discussion here... Mike

If you want some smooth types of flustration counts you may wanna research some of these:
The Orion Count by Dan Garrett The Rumba Count by Vallarino Daryl's Mexican Turnover Top Change Second Deal Any of these counts done together are quite deceptive my personal favorite is the Orion Count followed by the Rumba Count. Try these I'm sure you'll love them just a word about the Orion Count it takes a little work but once you get it watch yourself in the mirror it's pretty deceptive. Hope this helps Jason

Agostini: The only problem with your suggestion is that those are NOT the Flushtration Count. Entirely different concepts. HARRY LORAYNE.

A good tip for the flushtration count is alternating between turning the packet palm up to turning the packet to face the audience. Each time a card is drawn off you switch. The count is more convincing this way. (Card College)

I second Andi on that. I love the Orion, in appearance it looks vastly different, in methodology and 'effect' is exactly the same.

Good point Andi. My thoughts: Soft touch, Slow, and smooth. Keep a rythym going the slower the better.

For proper credit, the Orion Count was created by Yves Doumergue from Lyon, France. I explained this along with a routine I developed using the count in my 2002: The Last Palindrome booklet.
