That was a great surprise in the end
Did you have any experience in your show that you failed to steal the watch?
Or to be caught by the audience?
How do you deal with it?
And how do you choose the audience because you didn't see them in advance?

I do have times still where I get caught. I usually give that person a wink of my eye or whisper to "play along". . .they usually get the idea. If I have the opportunity, I try to walk through the audience before a show - without my jacket on - mostly looking like the wait staff, then I can spot who I'd like to use. In my nightly Vegas shows however, I don't have the time for that. I just do my picking right there in real-time during the peformance. I have yet - in 15 years of my casino run - to fail to find something to take.
