Nope, so far just the regular 1800's are out. No gaffs such as Invisible Deck, etc, have been released by E.

I thought they were coming out with the 2nd edition.

It would be so odd not to have gaffs of an E Deck.

Can't you make your own gaffed 1800 deck? A little roughing spray goes a long way.

You mentioned the roughing spray... Has anyone noticed cards catching on the 1800's, untreated? I put a card from an 1800 blue deck into an 1800 red deck for a version of Ultimate Card Trick, and I found the blue card gripping the other cards and not wanting to be shown. Any ideas? Am I just looking at stage fright on the part of the blue card, or did the decks receive different surface prep?

I found the 1800's to have a very, very strange, short-lived finish. They started to cling to each other very fast. I will never buy any more.

Something is definitely wrong with the 1800's finish. They stick to each other and clump up. To top that off, they smell REALLY, REALLY bad. But they look cool, so meh.

How about this idea:
Take a normal deck (either red or blue) and an 1800 deck (either red or blue...but the same as the normal colour you choose). Make 2 Invisible Decks, 1 half of each deck in each. That way, when the spectator flips over a card, you can say something along the lines of "psychic powers have made the card appear to have come from the 1800s"....or something along those lines....not only is a card reversed, but it looks really, really old. I have yet to try this, but I think the idea sounds pretty cool, with some potentially interesting presentation ideas. |

Cory, mine too smell terrible, and I find that the smell comes off and sticks to my hands after using. And the feel of the cards is quite plastic-y. I thought it just must have been my batch because I don't seem to read much about this issue on the various boards.

I found this post late but,
I bought my 1800 deck and yup they smelled bad also and like BugJack Said it does stick to your hands. these cards would be nice if the backs were not all the same design. E stated that the cards were all done different but looking at the cards when you spread them it looks bad real bad.... I hope they put out a new version of these and have gaff cards to go with them..... These cards would be great for scarry stories and haunted deck routines. Sebashtion H.

Hopefully they will improve the 1800 series in the 2nd generation. It is possible that they are waiting on the gaffed 1800s for 2nd generation.

Sebashtion H, when did you purchase the 1800 deck? Frankly, I was about to order two decks with my 2 CIB dvd's at the end of this month. But when this deck is that bad, I will not buy it off course.
