This is exciting.

I'd like the jokers to look like court jesters and be like the other court cards ( double image so they don't have to be turned around ).

"You and the rest of the astonishment community will brainstorm together to create the first official Astonishment Project deck. You'll have your say on everything from the deck's back design and colors to the styling of the jokers and the box. Garrett Thomas (who by sheer luck happens to be a professional artist) will supervise the collaboration, create mock-ups of the various designs (for your approval) and put together the camera-ready art. Then it all gets shipped off to the United States Playing Card Company to print the first 5000 Astonishment Project Decks. This all assumes that it's actually possible to create something beautiful by collaboration. If it all blows up Garrett and P.H. will step in and try to clean up the mess. Should be an interesting experiment to say the least".

Or they can be court judges.

I suggested having the back of the card all red, and all the white like the angels and such would be black. Garett said he really liked that idea.
