Bri,
What are those blue and silver cups in the picture of cabinet 1, shelf 3? Those look really unique.
I am looking to buy Pressley Guitar items in good condition. Send me a PM for details.

They are of Indian origin and powder coated alloy that has been etched. There's a red, blue and yellow. You can pick them up really cheap.

Bri… Thanks for posting the pictures, your collection is impressive and looks so top shelf in the display cases. I see another case in your future… you are running out of room.

Nice display Bri!
You still have some room though... you can take those Morrisey Indian Cups out of the cabinet one day. I did. But then again, your mini cups are kind of crowded. I can't believe how inexpensive those Ikea cabinets are! Is it possible to find a lighting kit so you can put a light in the top? The shelves are all glass, so the light will show thru each shelf and really cause your collection to twinkle. |

Donnie,
Those Morrissey Indian cups are just waiting for some curtain poles to fit them Failing that I'll sell em! You can get lighting kits for them, thanks for reminding me as I forgot to mention it here... I believe that these fit in the pre-drilled holes in the top: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/90143486 The mini cups do look crowded, Icrowdedthem on purpose! It's so I don't cave in and get those wicked little silver pf mini's you are offering! Bri |

Very, very nice collection & display, Bri.
I've got to ask - what are these cups: Cabinet 1, shelf 3 - back row, left hand side (cups from mystery Danish maker?) Cabinet 1, shelf 3 - middle row, front (Harry Stanley copper?) Cabinet 1, shelf 2 - front row, right (Harry Stanley chrome??) Thanks! Richard
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I only lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three. Elayne Boosler

Thanks Bill, Thanks Richard
Richard, you are correct on the 1st set. They are a combo set which I believe to be from the mystery Danish maker. They are quite tall and have 3 beads and eat a tennis ball but wont quite take a baseball. The second set are ( I believe) by the same maker but were sold to me as "Supreme Dumpy Cups), a regular non combo set with 2 beads. There are better pics of these cups here: http://www.cupsandballsmagic.com/Supreme-Dumpy-Cups.html Third set are indeed chrome (on alloy) Stanley cups. The set I can't seem to identify are the cabinet 1, 3rd shelf middle of middle row. I think there is some thread missing from them as they have holes drilled right at the top near the saddle. I did spot a set in Bill's museum a long while ago with similar holes but can't seem to find them of late. Bri |

Hey Bri, collection is looking great! Love the display unit, must look into something similar myself. Moving house soon enough, so need to make space in the plans!

Thanks spatlind, good luck with the move, I hope you're not moving because your cup collection has outgrown your house!
I found a better pic of that first set Richard asked about here: http://i679.photobucket.com/albums/vv158......tuff.jpg and here: http://i679.photobucket.com/albums/vv158......uff2.jpg for those interested and if anyone can help identify the tiny black leather chop cup with walnut final load I would be their friend forever! Thanks for sharing the photos. I was in Ikea a few weeks ago and was shocked by some of the great prices for display cases. Your collection looks great. Best, Doug

Hi all...
I am in the process of selling some of my beloved magic props. I have some Gary Animal Copper Love and Babe cups. The problem is I have forgotten which is what. Are the Babes smaller than the Loves? Can anyone give me the dimensions of each in inches. This would be a great help. Appreciate it super much. Ray
