Because he discovered it to be so easy since most people don't think of much of anything.

Why did the magician put his assistant through the rabbit wringer?

Much easier to travel- after going through the Rabbit Wringer, the assistant oould be folded up and placed in his pocket for easy transport to the next show. Oooorrrr, the dressing room did not have a shower, the Rabbit Wringer was the faster way to go. Oooooorrrr, the magician was hard of hearing, he was actually asked by the assistant if he could help out with the rabbit as it had been through the wringer, and instead found himself going in it ala' "Fargo." Ooooorrrrr, the magician found out his assistant was actually The Masked Magician.

In Run Wolf Run or in Run Rabbit Run, why does the wolf and/or rabbit end up in the magician's back pocket (that seems like an odd place to end up)?

From my experience, everyone eventually ends up in a magicians back pocket (or his wallet).

(by the way, MagicBus makes a very pragmatic argument for the wringer)

Why would the magician only use golden wands?

One to hold the coin ladder. One to hold overturned coin bucket at the start of the routine and to steal the original coin load from. One is to hold the spring bills produced at the end of the routine as part of the finale after the use of the coin ladder. One to hold the sign which reads "Coins from the Air". On one table sits the rabbit so that its tail can be lifted up to produce the coins from it's rear end ala Chris Capehart; and on the last table is the table holding the Jumbo Appearing Rabbit Die Box the rabbit came from for The Miser's Dream routine. Whoops, that's six tables needed, five is not enough.

What patter or theme did the magician use to make his thimble routine seem logical and/or interesting or relevant for audiences in 2009?

Because he picked by mistake a biker to assist him for helping him with the "appearing bra" trick. This was nervous laughter.

What did magician Mike Abston say AFTER on stage (true story) when handing the volunteer boy a pair of scissors so the boy could cut the rope ("Remember, the rope is white and I am pink. Don't cut the pink stuff.")and the boy proceded to severely slice right into Mike's finger so that his hand was covered in blood in a few seconds?

Why did the magician not perform the dance of the 7 viels himself?
