Tonight, while I was on the phone with her, she had another, major Stroke and coded... She's on a ventilator and is unresponsive. Please, pray to our Lord and Savior for my mom, Pat. Philippians 4:6 - Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Thank you all, my Brothers and Sister in Christ.
Mom passed on to the Promised Land earlier this afternoon. Please, if you could, continue to pray for the family so that we can find the peace that our Savior has guanteed us with His sacrifice. God Bless you all, Terry L. Tidwell (Prof. Piper)

JOHN 11:25 - Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; 26 and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.
PSALM 116:15 - Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. REVELATION 14:13 Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them." Terry

Hi Terry,
I've been away for almost a week and just read your thread. I'm so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Yes certainly I'll be praying for the comfort and peace of you and your family during this time. What comes to my mind are the words Ray Comfort told me when he was sharing about his father's death. Ray said to me, "My dad got sick and died a few years ago. Oh, it was nothing serious. He's with Christ now!". It pains us to lose a beloved family member, and it's normal to grieve over our loss. Even Jesus cried when He was with his friend Lazarus's family after he died. But what great hope we have! To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Your Mom has received complete healing now and is in the presence of Christ, where there is joy unspeakable. We can rejoice for her promotion, and at the same time be sad for our loss. May our Lord comfort you and your family during this time. Joe |

Thank you all for your prayers...
I'm back home now, attempting to adjust to this new reality. It's not easy, at all. Again, on behalf of my family: Thank you and God Bless, Terry (Prof. Piper)

Terry, I am so sorry. I am very close to my parents and I haven't had to experience losing one of them yet. I am so thankful that God gave me such wonderful parents and that we have always had such a great relationship. I can only try and imagine what you are going through, and me and my family will pray for you and yours. I feel it is especially difficult to lose a loved one near Christmas. Try to focus on the wonderful memories that I am sure you have of your mother. I pray that God will comfort you.
