I am working on a story that uses the train wreck at Wellington Washington in 1920. It seems my great Aunt received a few item that were rescued from the wreckage of the train cars and they might just be haunted.

How coincidental- I have been giving some serious thought to my October gigs, and hadn't thought to Outlaw! I can fix that...

With a nod to J.Goldsmith, "I don't always wear jewelry, but when I do... I prefer a Relic."
I have other Outlaw items but the Relic wins in its class of-- people initiate conversation about it prior to even performing with it. |

I am in the process of designing something new for Bizarre Magick. It won't be for sale, but I might give the idea to Rick. It's based on the Roswell Incident. Stay tuned!

And...I have decided to get what I can afford for now. I have $100 saved, and Sept. 1st, I'm thinking the 1936 L*n@ and the So Dark Manual. Then, in October the 1934 & '35 L*n@ books. I changed the "L*n@" like this because I saw it done here before. I don't know why we just don't spell it out, but you have a reason, so I am following along.
It's $425, but I really need to eventually add the Hobb's Key Box. I know it comes with the bell and stand, but do KEYS come with it? They're pictured in the second pic: http://www.outlaw-effects.com/store/gold......box.html I think this is a whole act in itself. This is all I know about it, i.e. just what I have read on the site. OK, ya did it...I hope you're all proud. I'm now hooked on Outlaw Effects Products! Doug |

My experience is a little different. I found Rick to be a really nice guy and very responsive UNTIL I made the payment. Since then it's 3 weeks later and I have had no product nor any replies to any of my emails, not even confirmation that the items have shipped. I'll give it till the end of the week then I will raise a dispute with PayPal. Based on my experience I could not recommend Outlaw Effects.

Rick is the coolest guy in this type of gig that I have ever dealt with. Top notch. He helped me so much. Still to this day I have never dealt with a better company.

I'd recommend against any kind of a dispute with PayPal - I've never had the experience that he does not follow-through; it just sometimes takes more than I would like. Keep in mind he is the only one who handles all of the emails, etc., and this is the busy season. Scratch that, it is the crazy season. Your patience will be well rewarded. Best wishes, David |

Well to be fair he does seem like a real good guy and I can live with things taking a while to arrive but he was replying within minutes right up to when I made the payment and not a single reply since which is a shame as that sends out very poor signals.

Still no product and no response from Rick. Busy season or not it's a pretty poor way to treat your customers. I can live with the package taking a month or more to arrive from the states at this time of year but the fact that all communication stopped the moment I made the payment is not so acceptable. At this point I have no clue whether the items I purchased have shipped. I'm left with no choice but to raise a dispute with PayPal before the window to do so closes. Shame as they have some great products and I had several others on my wish list but as it stands I couldn't order from Outlaw again or recommend them to anyone else.

Hi Mark, You aren't buying something from Walmart. There is a waiting period for these very specialized items, up to a year depending. The best delivery time will be after a production run. If you want the best patience is necessary.

As I said I can live with waiting for delivery (well why should I wait up to a year when Rick assured me the item was in stock?). What I find less acceptable is that when Rick was after my money he replied to every one of my emails within minutes. The moment he got my money he stopped replying to my emails and hasn't replied in weeks. No matter how specialised the product is that's pretty poor customer service.

Might check the date on your post, many retailers are busy right about now. I suggest sending gentle reminders and being patient.

The current date of my post has little to do with the date I placed the order or the dates of the emails to Rick that have gone unanswered. Unfortunately PayPal sets a time limit on patience because they only allow a small window for raising a dispute. Whilst I didn't drop a fortune on Rick that money is too hard earned to throw away on the off chance that the items may eventually ship. That money could currently be sitting under my tree enhancing my children's Christmas. Luckily the things bought for them all arrived in a timely fashion. If everyone placed such a low value on customer service my kids would be staring at an empty tree wondering if their presents would ever arrive.

I feel worthed with my long waiting of his products.
I can understand after I get the item in my hand. It s really uniquely made. |

I have tried to contact Rick and not heard from him either. Perhaps there is something else going on? I did email Vic an he responded very quickly. And my new book will be here next week!

I was hoping to pick up the Showdown wallet, but found that it's out of stock. Does anyone know if he plans on making them again?
