I just got my pocket organizer, I ordered it directly from Klamm. I ordered it on Thursday & it was in the morning mail, that was really fast!
Cool little thing, can't wait to get it all loaded up & start using it! Mike |

It's awesome isn't it!
The shipping is unusually fast as well. While I'm finding new prop organization items, I'm also reducing the size and number of props that I carry. The flexibility of the Klamm organizer has been a big help.
Think inside the box. . . it's less crowded.

I found an old CD fanny pack. works just great it has two front pockets, a mesh pocket with velcro, also in the front, and two small pockets on the belt, they are divided into two smaller pockets. I was suprised when I found out just how mush fit. For me it is more then I would use at any gig, but I put stuff in it to see what it would be like. Just an Idea. I found my in the Garage collecting dust

They will help you organize your props, as long as you use fairly standard props. Try eliminating everything that isn't absolutely necessary. Now that I'm through with the festivals, I usually work in some kind of jacket. I wear a nice vest, as well. I have a couple of ball holders under one edge of the vest for loads for the chop cup. My CTW goes in my right breast pocket. C/S/B goes into right outside jacket pocket, using the ticket pocket as the holder for the coins. Color changing knives go into the same pocket. They are touch coded. Chop cup goes into left outside jacket pocket. Ring Flight goes into left back pocket. One deck of cards goes into left outside jacket pocket as well. This is for CTW. TT material goes into right trousers pocket, with deck of cards. If I'm doing ID it goes into back right pocket. Jackets are tailored so props don't make the clothing bulge. Other items go into left jacket pocket, as well as vest pockets. If I'm doing a three hour strolling gig, I have more than enough material for the tables.

Is Klamm's pocket organizer I should go for? How does it compare with the Close-Up Organizer by Seams Like Magic?

Working out where to put stuff - and how much stuff to put - takes time. It's also confidence dependant. The more confidence you have - the less you need.
If you work the same place every week, or weekend - you need to be prepared for the same customers - next time. But - me? I go out prepared for 3 different shows...just in case.. I come across a table I've done recently.......... I have the High Caliber Holster as a reserve, and use a waistcoat (vest)with a few internal pocckets.. very much what I have in my pic -no sleeves.. and that's it. I rarely use the HC holster... but I love the security it gives me. It's a confidence thing again - and that's something you really can't buy... My advice is.. once you know what you want to do for a few years.. get yourself tailored for it. Get pockets sewn where you need them. Ask your seamstress for the obvious. Use sewn-in magnets... hey! this is a BIG one for me... Just think.. go into a junk clothes chop and buy something that SUITS you... and adapt it. You don't even have to be able to sew.. you can buy stuff that welds fabric together with an iron.. And.. study Cellini.. don't make the mistake I did. "oh.. that'll do for now". Plan ahead. For everything. Spik later... Cheers! DCB

These look interesting. Has anyone tried to dye them black or maybe navy blue? Is it possible? What is the material?

The links for Klams pocket organizer are bad, due to the death of Mr Klam. The medical supply links still work. I find I need to bring much more stuff than I actually use. Its a confidence thing. But is also gives you flexibility in case something is not just hitting well that day, or you have repeat customers who've already seen your mainstays
