I didn't want to clutter the board or make an off-topic post, but I wanted to ask all of you to please pray for me. I've been out of work for almost 6 months now and it's only by the grace of God that I've been provided for. The unemployment that I've been receiving is half of what I was making when I was working and yet, all of my bills have been paid for by the middle of the month...

If I did my calculations correctly, I have about two or three weeks left before it runs out. Regardless of what happens, God is still wonderful and He has done more for me than I could have expected...

I can identify with your situation. Due to various circumstanes, I too hve been out of work on my "day" job. I didn't have enough hours to receive any unemployment last year. Still, like you, our needs - and some wants (i.e., magic stuff) were provided for.

Things like this try our faith and make us stronger. God does provide, s He sees fit.

It's funny but I think that I've been busier since I lost my job...lol I spent the end of last year coaching my daughter's soccer team and opening an online Christian t-shirt shop. I also made a commitment to study the Bible inductively for the next 10+ years...

I thank you for the encouragement and the reminder that God is always in control and He knows exactly what's needed and when!

How about " I'm just a magician but I follow The Miracle Worker." or " I don't perform miracles that’s God’s department.” or “Magic is just illusion. Miracles are real.” or “ This Magi still seeks Him.” I’ll need to narrow these down for a few custom shirts.

Thanks for the ideas Dave! I've been working on expanding my shop to other stuff. I have some occupations designs up already and was trying to work on a magician one. I'll definitely work on these! I do custom work as well, so if you know someone that would like to have tshirts for a show or party or something and they like my work, just let me know!

I hope to find someone to translate the designs into Spanish too...

FYI “ This Magi still seeks Him.” is at the top of my list. For graphics I'm thinking a chop cup that looks like a chalice. (mine actually does.) Three red balls in front of the cup for the Trinity or the Three of Hearts and the Ace of Hearts symbolizing 3 Persons, 1 God. Probably too complicated to do, but you have my creative juices flowing. The cards with a dove would be nice as well. PM me and let me know what you come up with. God bless.
