Jay, have you ever had an interest in thread work? I'm hoping you say yes and that there's a DVD in the future.

Only a little bit in front of live audiences, though quite a lot when it comes to practice and exploration. Me a little scared of thread! Sooo unforgiving. (And by that I of course mean that I am the unforgiving one, insofar as the notion of failing,bombing,etc in front of a live audience strikes such fear in me! Seriously, I don't mind bombing and truly stinking up the joing in the name of creative exploration, but I'm still not totally cool with doing that...with thread!

I was at a party once and I was hooked up and ready to go and a woman I knew walked up and saw the bill in my hand and said "That's mine!" I grabbed it from my hand, breaking the thread. Meanwhile everyone at the table is expecting something amazing to happen. Yikes. That was the last time I used thread.
