Finally the Moon has risen on this part of Canada.
Another masterpiece from the demented minds of the Outlaws. In particular to Mr.Roth for his excellent service & commitment to our art, I say, "thank you frendo". Hennessey

Aight.
The pharmasist said to me... that my perscription called for no more refills... Then found out that my name wasn't Rick Roth and asked me what I was doin' with his perscription bottles for Quaaludes... I threw some of that dragons breath in his face... So its all in the good... Go to the mail box this afternoon... as go to open it up I get this ... feeling. I can't exactly explain it. I... I felt as though maybe I needed to not open the box right then... maybe, come back later. ... This... fear, almost of not wanting to open it. ... ... I shook it off and slide the key in the lock... As I open mail box I felt felt this ... cold. A coldness, Cold water, surrounds me, now. Rain. I hadn't realized. I stood there for a moment. ... ... enjoying the wet on my skin... It was peaceful. Peaceful, Yes. I smiled. I was was full of peace. I hadn't felt the first shock. The second one was the one that got my attention... Boom. My hand all of a sudden would not let go of the key. I panicked. Boom. I scream, as a another jolt shot up through my legs. My knees gave out yet for some reason I was unable still. Unable to let go of the key. I push myself against the wall of mailboxes... TATATAT I woke up. I'm sweating. I could feel the leather pulling the hair out by the roots form the flesh on my wrists and forearms. It was so hot... My mouth was dry... I don;t understand... It should be that hot... TATATAT I can't stand it. My molars clench. For some reason I can't seem to moved. 'Please...' I say in my head, 'Please stop...' ' Why can't I move... I can feel my legs, move legs... Please God, let my le...' TATTATTAT. ... I blacked out... that's all I remember... I remember the white coats putting me in a wheel chair. ... I am still here... ... It sun is so hot... it shouldn't get that hot... As the white coat comes to me... with his little cup in his hand... I hate him. ... I ... Hate... him. With everything I have... in my soul, I try to move my arm at him... He puts a pill in my mouth... and wipes the water off my chin. ***. I... hate ... him. He puts another pill in my mouth... this time as I got to try to move my arm... my teeth clench down on his finger. Just as I bit into the muscle and onto the joint, he starts to open his mouth to scream, just as he does... ... I jolt up. In bed. At home. In my house... man. What a dream. Wicked man. I feel like I have a fever... maybe, a cold shower... I turn on the shower. As I make my way toward the kitchen to get some water... I spot in on the table... 'No' ... 'Yes...', my head hisses. I see it. It is there... Luna... *scene* First off this is beautiful as usual. Rick, I think your using something other than tea man... like deer blood. That smell.. Methodology is astounding... I am happy to have gotten this... Very happy... at the end of the performance... I think I is gong to be phenomenal to add Don's Teardrop... Like build it up... this is perfect for it... Start feeling the emotions man... they will too... if you do. Convince them by being convinced... Lead by example... I thanks you Rick and Doc... On behalf of everyone... Thank You. Bet that. Meraux The next morning I woke up

Well I have just spent the last few hours studying Luna
Here are my initial thoughts This is the first outlaw product I have purchased although, I also await the arrival of Magnum and I am no way associated with Roth. This product is quite outstanding it looks so real, aged to perfection, including the smell. As for the methodology very clever designed for use in the real world The instruction booklet is oozes quality , and has set my mind racing with presentational ideas. I cannot believe that anyone would be disappointed if they purchased this. I also applaud the fact that this product will not be wholesaled. As I this effectively reduces the number in the marketplace. I have spent thousands on books and props over the last twenty years, very few have taken my breath away , Luna did. I look forward to sharing ideas on the owners forum. Do yourself a favour order one now before they lock it away for good. regards Andy |

Mine just arrived today -- making it's way from the 405 to the 134 and the far reaches of Glendale, CA! Sure, I'm a heck of a lot closer to Rick that some of you in UK, but hey, if you've ever been on the 405 during rush hour - you know this is a !@#$% of a journey.
Seriously, I've only had a few hours to digest it, but WOW it's fantastic. Once again, well done Roth. Quality - amazing. Method - direct. Possibilities - only limited by your imagination. Like Witches before it, Luna not just an effect, but a true piece of art. Like someone said earlier, this isn't some one-size-fit-all-assembly line product. The aging is amazing. In fact, when I got mine today, it was still a little damp! Drying it out in the sun just added to aged quality of it. For those who haven't received theirs yet, your patience will be rewarded ten fold. Money well spent that is for sure. One final note: I'm finding the Outlaw forum extremely helpful for ideas on how to mark my copy up. Be sure to check it out, it's a great resource that will only get even better with time and input. |

Another "luna" tic here. This is not a book as much as a work of art. I just don't know how Roth managed to produce this. (Could he be writing from personal experience?)
The aspect of this that fits my style is the "social commentary" on that era. The presentation possibilities are limitless and adaptable to many performance styles. Buy it now and start saving for the next release, which will surely come. Well done Mr. Roth(again) Hennessey

Mine arrived here in London yesterday.
Haven't yet had a chance to give it the preparation it deserves, so can only offer an initial first impression... This ROCKS! :) |

Luna is a brilliant and versatile theater piece adaptable to many different acting styles. I have already scared the hell out of a few unsuspecting folks. Bravo, Rick!

Preparing for this by assembling some vintage props--found a period medical bag, and a 1935 book "Outline of Psychiatry". Now to assemble some "instruments" as may have been used to ignorantly treat the mentally ill in those times. The more I think about this, I am less interested in the scary aspects, I think I will go with empathy and compassion. I think the subject matter will automatically take care of the chills and creepier aspect. The bag, then, may have belonged to a physician who waorked at Colney, quite troubled by the treatment of the "lunatic Poor", desperately trying to cure his charges, but frustratingly unabe to do so given the methods of the day. He has unfinished business with the Luna registry--he would like my help--and maby forgiveness for his ineffectiveness--?

Theater piece is right: a one-man one-act intimate little show. One thing I really love about this approach is that any 'Mitox' you come up with is validated when you prove yourself by picking up accurate details that they can verify.
In other words, if this is true, why not the other? They certainly can't prove you wrong. You can flesh this out a lot bigger if you don't consider it just a book test. If anyone is playing this regular, and can get back to the people you've played this for...what are they remembering of it? How does it play when they relate it? I'm thinking it magnifies in their memories. ???
We dance an invisible dance to music they cannot hear.
