DAVE FORREST PRESENTS THREE STUNNING CARD EFFECTS WITH ONE THING IN COMMON - A SIMPLE GAFF CARD!
EFFECT 1 - ‘SHRINK’ - A HYPER VISUAL SANDWICH EFFECT.
An incredibly visual sandwich effectwith a stunning climax that will guarantee you are remembered. A selected card is continuously discovered in between the two Jokers, each time more impossible than the last. Eventually, you confess to the method - you are actually making the card too small to be seen! With that you shrink the selection to half it’s size! This is a stunner!
EFFECT 2 - 'TRANSFORMER' - A MULTIPLE SELECTION ROUTINE
Three cards are selected and lost back into the pack. The Jokers impossibly trap the first selection, let’s say it’s a Seven. Six cards
are counted off the top of the deck and the seventh card is shown to be the second selection! Attention is now drawn back to the Seven, in between the two Jokers - it has transformed into the third selection! A real commercial stunner - perfect for table hopping!
EFFECT 3 - 'FLIGHT' - A 'TEST CONDITIONS' CARD TO WALLET
A card is selected. The spectator signs the face and the back is marked with a large ‘X’. The signed card is placed in between two Jokers and the three card packet is left outjogged from the centre of the deck - the spectator can still see the selected card at this point. With a snap of your fingers the deck is spread and there is now NOTHING in between the Jokers - the signed selection has completely vanished! You reach into your back pocket - that you have been nowhere near the entire time - inside your regular, everyday wallet is the signed card!
My thoughts:
What can I say here that will not make me seem like a tacky actor on of of those american infomerchals? Sorry there really is no other way to word this with out sounding tacky. This download IS ASTOUNDING, The card to wallet is WORTH DOUBLE of the asking price of this download alone. For dave this was not enough, oooh no he thrived to give you more with the visuialy stunning shrink which will have you moist just by the demo. Finaly we have transformer. Just have a read of the discription above and you will understand how fantastic the effect is.
Dave really has taken his time and pulled the best of the best out of a simple gaff. As I stated before, I would have been happy to pay double for the card to wallet its self. The extra 2 effects just added more and more vaule to this. All is well shot and self contained. that's right, you need no wired programs to run it as all is provided.
For £8.95 this is an absolute bargin. You will feel like you are ripping Dave off. I CANT RECOMEND THIS ENOUGH

I was going to post up a review of this as well but Alan beat me to it. Trio is a download with 3 effects that comes in a 250 meg download file. It is done in the same style as Dave's Colour Burn in terms of the media package. None of the effects are knuckle busters and all 3 use a fairly common gaff.
The card to wallet is indeed my favorite effect and is super easy and clean.
Thanks for another winner, Dave.

The CTW is indeed amazing. One aspect of it completely fooled me the first time I watched it!
I love Transformer. Such a magical, cool routine. And so easy to do.
Shrink is also one that will stun lay folk. A very fun routine.
Yeah, the asking price is way low considering how many one trick dvds go for much more than what Dave is offering here. And here you're getting three stunners!

No sticky business! The dvd is now out and comes with the gimmick and mini card needed for one of the effects.

Well I just received Trio and I must say, I'm very impressed with the DVD and the clever use of a gaff.
I'm a hobbyist type of card handler but I think I can handle the required sleights to pull these effects off.
Of the three effects, I like 'Transformer' the best, all though all three are strong.
I do like the usage of the mini card in 'shrink' but it will take me a little while to get used to handling it.
It's actually Mr. Forests usage of the gimmick that really opens up a lot of possibilities. It's a real eye opener when they see that card arrive so effortlessly to the top. And it's fun to perform.
When I showed "Shrink" to the girlfriend, I almost got a bigger reaction from the second rise to the top, then with the mini card climax.
I think these routines offer some great ideas, but they will also get your own creative juices flowing a bit.
You just might be asking yourself those famous "what if I did this" kind of questions that will enable you to build your own routines.
My only complaint is with the gaffed card I received. I would of preferred a number card, and the printing on the card doesn't match my regular deck all that well.
But this type of gaffed card is easy enough to find.
All in all, a good buy. I think most people who are not familiar with the gaff will use it.

I must admit I´m not a big fan of DVDs with only a small amount of trick explanations on it. The Trio DVD, although I liked the promotion video of the effects, was in that category for me.
But because I like the effects I finally decided to buy the DVD. And man, I was not disappointed. All three effects are excellent, the handlings to accomplish the effects is well thought our by Mr. Forrest, and the utilization of the gaff card - a card that quite a few card magicians will have already to replace the card that comes with the DVD - is brilliant!
One last remark: Normally I perform without gaffs. I only use a regular deck of cards that can be examined by the spectators. But here is the cool part - because the use of the jokers gives an excuse to introduce the two extra cards, it is very easy to bring the gaff into the deck.
Brilliant thinking, Mr. Forrest, this is a winner! I have already added the effects to my repertoire.

I've lost the downloaded file which was in my dead hard drive.
I've already sent a couple of e-mails to Dave but I had no answers 'til now.
So, Dave, if you come to this thread, please feel free to pm me.
