Slither - This is more than a card trick... It's a Technology! The action happens right in your spectator's hands for HUGE REACTIONS! Highly Recommended!!!
Description: Slither is Strong... It's The Slickest! The Smoothest! & The Sharpest effect of its kind. Read the description several times... It Happens Exactly as Written. 4 cards are removed from a regular deck. 2 Kings are given to the spectator. Magician holds two 9's. The two 9's VISUALLY change into 2 Kings. The spectator looks in their hands, THEY ARE NOW HOLDING 2 ACES! Use Slither to Perform Below with Ease: Color Changes Transpositions Switches Sand-Wich effects Just wondering, it says in a quote that it is a multi-purpose gimmick. Does anyone know how visibly the change happens??? Any reviews? |

Mac I heard that Slither's gimmick breaks really easily.
Use the search function on this forum and you'll find some threads about slither. |

They do break easily, when I got mine, I didn't have a clue what to do with it. I couldn't follow the instructions either. I had to phone the shop for verbal instructions.
How embarrassing! -Kevin- |

They break easily?
Is there something more than just gaffed cards, rough/smooth, etc.? |

Get 'double back' instead; it's a much better effect. Do a search and you will find threads on this trick. Just click search, and select 'the Good, the Bad and the Garbage,' and type the name of the trick.

I've been using Slither for months now without it breaking, but I would recommend double back over slither as it's so much cleaner. I have both and now I don't use Slither, although I have had fantastic results with it in the past.

"Double back" is FAR superior to "slither".
In fact, "Double back" is one of the best tricks for quite some time. |

I have both effects and they are almost identical. Methodwise, Double Back is FAR superior. Easier to use, no weird get-ready, 100% reliable and the gimmick will last you a lot longer and is easily repaired if it needs it.
DOUBLE BACK all the way and I agree with Axman, (Nice image by the way) it is the best trick for quite some time, but I'll tell you this. Jon Allen (Inventor of Double Back) is a close friend of mine and he has a killer effect coming out over the coming months. It has fooled some of the top guys around. Can't say too much except that remember you heard it here first! |

Buy Double Back, same effect and cleaner handling. It looks impossible.

Is there a method taught for double back that doesn't use a half pass as that is it's only weakness in my opinion . Please pm me if there is a workaround as it's a fantastic effect otherwise Tarik 🙂
