I just went to the Superhandz site and found they have a book for sale. Priced at $75.00 I was wondering if anyone else has it. If I'm going to spend that much money, I want to be sure it's good! The flourishes on the site are incredible, although I'm pretty sure some use some kind of "gimmick". Any advice is appreciated.

It isn't really a Superhandz book. It is from Jerry Cestkowski, Partner of De'vo, owner of Superhandz. Superhandz does promote it because De'vo and Jerry are friends. You can check out more of it at http://www.flourishman.com

I bought it as soon as it became available. It's a fantastic book if your into flourishes. If you're a flourisher, it is well worth the money. Buy it!

Hello,
I was wondering what is the proportion in the book between these 3 categories: 1. Flourish that takes 1-3 weeks to learn 2. Flourish that takes 1-3 month to learn 3. Flourish that takes a lifetime to learn Of course, if there is 90% in the third category, I won't even think of buying the book This information would be very helpful! Thanks, Nicolas |

The learning curve must take into consideration your current level of card handling ability. If you can barely riffle shuffle a deck of cards, this book would probably be too advanced.
But if you are one that is not afraid of challenges and practicing, this book is great. Some things you'll be able to do by the end of the day, some things will take a little longer. I don't know the exact proportions for the difficulty levels, but I'm sure that 90% of the things aren't in your "lifetime" category. There's something new for anybody, no matter what their level is. In the off-chance that you're NOT a 'book' guy, get the McBride Card Manipulation video series. That's seperated into more of a beginner, intermediate, advanced level. KC |

Thanks KC for the reply.
It's exactly the response I was waiting for This encourages me to buy the book. I prefer books than DVD...because books are for life! (DVD depends on technology which change every 5 years) I love to practice for flourish. That's the fun of it. Practice without too much thinking Thanks a lot and I hope the book will be available via any magic shop soon! Regards, Nicolas |

Does a section of the book concentrate on sybils? I'm really interested in sybil moves and that fancy stuff. If so I think I may buy it. The flourishes must be good in this.

Christian the answer is no. The only Sybil work is going to be on Devos new video.

Actually, Jerry does have a sybil called the tower cut. But only one.
If you like sybils, I'd wait for De'vo's Cradle to Grave routine which is rumored to have the BEST sybil concept ever! I for one, cannot wait to see it! De'vo's mind works much differently than the rest of us. I'm sure it won't be just another sybil variation, but a completely new way to look at sybil. Still, get Jerry's book as it is the best flourish referrence in the world! Cardjinx |

There is more to flourishes than sybils. Jerry's book proves that! It rocks! Forget the sybil man and go for the book.
If you HAVE to have sybils, then go for De'vo's Cradle to Grave. It will blow ALL other sybils away just by the nature of the concept! No doubt! |
