When exploding a wine glass, using your favourite method, how do ensure that not too much mess is made?

Depending on the method used, the pieces can almost entirely fall within the glass proper.
If using Ted's method, the pieces all land on the table. |

Put it in a plastic bag, right Tony?

LOL
Or a box with dragons on it. Posted: Jun 26, 2008 11:56pm Sorry for the confusion, it was not Ted's item I was thinking of (shattering glass on a table), it is another's marketed effect. Tony |

Maybe the pieces could fall into a top hat and then I turn the hat upside down and the pieces have vanished and a dove flies out?

I have used the electronic crasher and the mess made was relatively `small' . End your show with it ? It really does not matter though ( the mess ) because most audiences do wear shoes during my shows . Well , they all do actually .

Iused to have a perspex front that dropped into the dolls house I was using way back... The base of the dolls house was actually a glass breaking table. That used to ensure everything was contained and easy to deal with.
You could try using a ziploc bag if that wouldn't get in the way of your mech... |

A magician in our club places a light bulb on a tray and covers it with an upside down aquarium which confines the glass breakage. (It is a dealer item.)
Remember, if you get glass fragments into someone's rug at their home, you will probably never be invited back or recommended for a show.
