Hey, I'm trying to identify an effect I used to own. I believe it was a Terry Rogers effect with cards where one card is truned face down and all cards end up face down. When one is turned face up they all turn face up. In the end two backs and the other two faces as shown to be made of colored prism paper and all can be examined. Anyone know this effect?
Thanks, Kex |

Hi Kex,
This is the DAZZLE routine from Alex Elmsely. I am sure it is in the L & L book as well as the DVD set. Enjoy the search. Regards, Paul Green |

Paul, its not the dazzle routine of Elmsley's. This one involved a nifty ditch of the extra card to your pocket and only had four cards showing. Dazzle used five jokers and this one had no jokers. Also, Elmsley's effect is color changing backs... several times. In the one I am tracking down the change was only at the climax. But thanks for the help.

I know of Rainbow Cascade and it sounds right. Not familiar with the moves in it. Does it ditch the extra card to your pocket? Doing some writing and trying to research that move.

I don't own Rainbow Cascade, so I can't say for sure that one card goes to the pocket. But in Roy Walton's Cascade, it does, and the demo for RC looks as though it does too (even though the effect is to make it look so obvious that a spectator thinks you didn't actually). Rainbow Cascade is exactly the same effect as Cascade but with different looking cards. Both effects are a series of ECs.
