Gallagher.. It IS indeed, a WONDROUS hat. It says it all. And no, the beard didn't come with it. The beard came with Photoshop CS, you sarky git. That pic is actually my business card, without the text.
Now that you bring the topic up, sarky git, how come you don't got a pic up here? And where are you from? Scotland, by any chance? Sarky Git? If so, is it still grim up North? L Trunk..You know how it is - you have to be firm with them. If that fails - be threatening. Usually works for me. Cheers ... DCB

If I get a Jaxon Hat I will add a long pink feather to it.

The hat in my picture is made in Mexico. It's a cheap ($15) straw fedora, but surprisingly well made and heavy. I got it at Market Square here in San Antonio. It's comfortable which is most important because the average temperature here in the summer is about 200 degrees. Plus it's easily replaced. I don't know why, but nobody ever tries to grab my hat, even when I'm wearing a top hat at a kidshow little kids leave it alone. I'm grateful for that. Oh, and my typical 'hat' is about what some others were saying $20 for a 10 - 15 minute sidewalk show, but I don't do it often enough to have a feel for turning the tip. I can gather them but my hat pitch is kinda weak.

I think I'll order a couple from Jaxons as backups. *** good idea, I have backups as well because I have this nasty habit of going out after working and losing stuff in the process. Seattle is great for this because nearly every night there's some type of punk cabaret event going on and the drinks tend to be very stiff at those. On the bright side, Neal Cassady would totally understand. |

I'll talk about hats! first of all, you have to be real with who you are as a performer?...why would anyone talk about what gazzo does because there are only 5 guys in the world that can do what gazzo does....lets look at reality....
heres what happens for me,,,average hat is maybe $60 I don't like to do really big shows and prefer the medium size shows....closer to the table so I can develop a connection with the audience...for gazzo to do those big hats he has to build for a long time ,,,and lets just say that NO ONE here is gazzo NO ONE! hes diferent than all of us..... think about this 15 minutes $60...dont beleive me, ask anyone who has watched me work....$60 a hat average...3 an hour..... and yes wayne there are places that you can work that you can do $400 a day every day year around....they are out there....but usually you have to travel.... and the guy who asked this question...are you an experienced worker on the streets...because if you aren't YOU WILL NOT GO TO NY CITY and kick butt...it will not happen...but with some knowledge you can make money there...but you have to work for it....and if you think that magic is the reason you are going to make money WRONG...you want to make great money be a great entertainer...are you that?. there are so few who work the streets that are successful and that's becausee they don't understand what it is...they all talk about size of hats and worry about that instead of worrying about how much you go home with I'm NOT a great entertainer but I'm alittle bit funny and I can do some magic...and that is why I make more money than just about anyone in the world on a street corner...work ethic!!! I will go out there and do it until I cant anymore to obtain my goals....I"M A MONSTER when it comes to work ethic...and that's what it takes....now remember I'm not a great magician and don't care to be and I'm not a great entertainer...i'm just a guy who makes more money than just about anyone working the streets...and that's including the best I have a system....its coming out in november...its the stuff that was never talked about by anyone on video before....its pretty thorough and I think will really help with the learning curve for those who want to do this.... in addition to that I'm wlling for a fee to go out with anyone who REALLY wants to do this and spend a week working with them.... koz koz |

Kozmo is the man. I spent a week with koz and it totaly paid off for me. In that week I stared out $3-$4 hats. I even got totaly stiffed. By the end of the week I avg. a $20 dollar hat. It is no kozmo sized hat, but it is a start. I know after that I am now heading in the right direction. In all seriousness I can't think koz enough.

I'm very interested in what you have to teach Koz. I too believe that it's about being an entertainer first, I don't even do magic in my street show. Let me know when your system becomes available.
