For those Rings that host an pleasant annual semi-formal banquet - How much do you charge members and nonmembers, couples and so on? How much of the expense does your Ring cover?

Our Rings banquet is coming up and I've actually had to put this one together from scratch. Since there hasn't been one in the last 4 years that I have been a member of our group.

This year is kind of simple, buffet style dinner at a local Italian Restaurant, private room, the person who won our annual Close-Up / Parlor competition opens for our guest entertainer. Then the awards are given out.

$20 a person and the people who are getting awards don't pay. We get the room for free. The Rings covers whatever we fall short with people attending.

Ring 161 in Akron, OH hosts one annually.
We hold it at a local party center.
$25 per person includes a catered buffet dinner, close up magic before dinner and a 4-5 act stage show after.
Awards are given out and a raffle is drawn before the stage show.
We normally have 125-150 in attendance and the club nets a few hundred bucks.
