I don't know if this has been mentioned before, (I'm sure it has), but get one of those little picture wallets for a dollar women keep in their purses. They have many slots inside, and a nice little leather cover. I put a hard plastic card (kroger card, credit card....) on the first and last slot (to keep it from bending in my pocket) and keep my packet tricks in all the other slots. You don't have to use this when you are doing gigs, although I do.
Keeping a practice set of each packet trick in one of these is good for practicing too, as you don't need to keep pulling out cards from the deck.

I use a Ferrero Rocher box. Not because it's particularly effective, I just needed something to do after I ate all the chocolate.

For storing packet tricks, it doesn't get better than this. Get them at any card shop.

I just use plastic Baseball card sleeves with 9 slots per page for storage and remove the packet tricks as needed.

Well, it's not cheap, but I also need a way to hold my packet tricks and my research led me to this: http://themagicwarehouse.com/cgi-bin/findit.pl?x_item=WA6425 Looks really nice but I went with a cheaper version I found on Magicauction.com for about $5. I haven't received it yet so I can't comment on quality etc..

You don't WANT the spectator to see you have lots of little packets of cards or even worse to perform one after the other. That's one of the reasons why packet trick magic went out of favor in the first place. |

Hmm, interesting. Thanks for the ideas, sure beats storing 100 of those fifty cent wallets. Now I just need more packet tricks!

The "MAGIC card game" uses plastic sleeves to store special cards. I have found these in sets of 50 in tin boxes and some in plastic boxes. I store all my special cards and packet tricks in these sleeves inside the tin boxes. The boxes are marked as to what is inside, like 3 card montis, 4 card packet tricks, special cards, etc. You could probably find them in mall stores which feature war and D&D games.

I agree with Paul... Too many packet tricks in a performance are scary... and boring... I store all mine in 6x9 envelopes... (with instruction sheets) and take the one I am going to do (sometimes I carry two) and use the little license wallet they sometimes come with...

Go to Staples or other office supply store and get a "coupon organizer" it's a little plastic box with separators and labels.
