I've been mulling over this for a while and, after talking to a couple of friends, finally decided to put this together. I've put several effects that I've performed for years into book called, "The Modern Conjurer Strikes Again!".
Some of the effects you'll find: - Sensible Princess: Five court cards are removed from a deck of cards, which is placed aside. The cards are fanned and shown to a spectator who is asked to simply think of one of them. The magician turns the cards face down, gives them a little mix, then asks for the name of the thought of card. The spectator names the card he/she thought of...it is no longer in the packet! Here's where the plot changes: the deck is then picked up and spread showing one card face down in the middle of the pack...it is the thought of card! - Rip-cord: Inspired by an idea by Max Malini, I created a more modern effect. Imagine this: you're performing for a crowd of people and notice one of them has an iPod. You ask for the earphones which you take, cutting the cord in half and restoring it right before their eyes! This is a great one for street performers. - "Leaping Las Vegas": My handling of the classic cards across by Paul Harris. I've made a couple of changes that always get gasps from the audience! - "Red in the Face": A spectator signs the face of a blue-backed card. The magician signs the back of a red-backed card. Soon, the red backed card the magician signed has a blue back, and the blue backed card the spectator signed has a red back...with the performer's signature! One of my favorites! There are six total effects included. due to an issue with my computer, I had to send the files over to another computer so that the PDFs would be ready today. To everyone that has ordered so far, I'll be sending those e-mails out later today. Received this from Bill Palmer earlier today also: "I've known Rick Green for half a dozen years. He always has a fresh approach to his magic. His ability to take a known item and personalize it is the same kind of ability Frank Sinatra had to make a song "his." The items in this booklet are perfect examples of personalizing your magic. It's a goal we all should strive for. Rick has succeeded." Thanks to everyone who's responded so far! ready to ship/e-mail. As the orders are coming in, I'm send out an e-mail with a copy attached. Thanks! Rick

Thanks to all those that have purchased this so far. I'm hearing a lot of good feedback on the material (especially on Rip-cord and 'Post-It Prediction'). I also wanted to say thanks to Bill Palmer for helping me with the formatting of book.
