IMHO "The Amazing Haze" sounds like rush week in a Frat House.
I agree with Marc Savard - If you have to announce that you are amazing then you are starting off on the wrong foot. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks, everyone, for your input.
The more I turn it over, the more I like "Jacob Haze."

Go for it! It sounds great!
"Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome to the stage, Hypnotist Jacob Haze!" I just bought JacobHaze.com, I will sell it to you for $10,000.00, if you are interested? Haha. I'm just kidding of course. But now that I mention it, you better go buy it before some classless jack-ass does! Marc |

Go with something totally different.... like Shecky Boondoggle.
No, don't use that one. It is going to be my new moniker. |

Or, perhaps . . . Hypnotist James Hazlerig.
It's up to you on how or why you take on a stage name different from your therapy name - there was a discussion of this at Hypnothoughts some time ago - but I would suggest that if you choose to go with a stage name then you should be doing so with reasons as to why that's the direction to go toward rather than trying to move away from perceived negative effects of your real name. Personally, I don't think the euphonious nature of your name or the spelling issue should be deciders (heck, I get people misspelling my name all the time . . . it's amazing the number of folks who spell Brian as Brain on a regular basis . . . so changing your name is not going to cut out misspellings completely). What other GOOD reasons do you have to take on your stage name? Do note that John Cerbone's description of his stage name of Trance-Master is another thing to consider, not changing your name but taking on a stage moniker . . . Amazing and the like. All the best, Brian
