I'm a fan of Brian Miller's Sudden Aces... a great quickie, really surprising, and it's garnished good reactions! It can be found in his Cards, Coins, Thoughts, and Theories ebook, Part Two.

I too am loving Brian's effect... what a weird coincidence, as I'd never heard of him before, and just got his e-book yesterday. Honestly, I wasn't going to read through it right away (it was late), until I saw the video of him doing it. Very nice Brian, very nice.
Two of my favorite reveals are the card under drink, and chaptrick.

Anything that gives people a laugh always seems to disarm them
--> Card to Mouth (Never tried Card to Fly yet...)
--> Card in bottle
The dumber people think you are, the more surprised they're going to be when you kill them.

I like any flashy super cool move producing the wrong card and then top change.

And Sprung and dagger can reveal 2 cards and you could do it with an examined and shuffled deck!

Impromptu rising card. The one that's very easy to do.
I'll soon be ending all of my posts with "nuff said."

Card from butthole. Leaves'em speechless and me feelin' fresh. I also like using a D-turnover to effect a color change, specifically rubbing the single on my sleeve. It's quite magical -- almost as good as card from butthole.

Cain's Card From Butthole really stinks! When the card turned from red to brown I was amazed! Hardest part of the trick was to get the stains off my sleeve.

My best reactions lately have come from Could You Put That In Writing. I like how it seems to add an eerie aura to a regular card trick.

The one where they pick a card... that's a great trick! Anybody else know it?

For a simple revelation, the Benzais Spinout and Catching Two at the Fingertips from Erdnase always seems to get me the best reactions. Palming a card to my pocket or hat also gets gasps.
