I have a question for 'Wizard.' What's the range of this box? How far away can you be from where you and the spectator are? Also: It must work on batteries, yes? (I can't imagine it being plug in!)

Hi Brane.
Spectre's range depends on how many walls you are going through. Someone told me it also has a lot to do with the way the home/space is constructed. Cement slab cuts down on signal travel supposedly. But my home is cement slab on ground floor and I get about 50 -60 feet of distance. The thing you must do is choose you best acoustic hidden or concealed spot, then see if that spot is 'reachable'. I always do it upstairs, when I'm downstairs. It really sounds creepy. Also: It must work on batteries, yes? (I can't imagine it being plug in!) Yes Batteries. 2 C's and 8 AA's. The C's will last well over a year. The AA's will last many months depending on usage. I also have a feature that "tunes' the performance and that in turn maximizes battery length. Hope I answered your questions. Thanks. Best, Wizard Hi again Brane, Forgot to add, the answer to many other questions' you or anyone might have about Spectre are on my web site: http://www.wizardsmachine.com Best. |
