There is a new self levitation out at Hank Lee's. Here is the description of the new levitation:
On Thin Air Self Levitation. It's what every magician wants to do. And, we have seen them all. The Balducci, The Elevator, The Escalator, Zero Gravity, Walking On Air and more. But, we have never, ever seen anything like Ray Noble's On Thin Air. It is by far the most practical self-levitation we have seen. It is the one you will use! The effect could not be more straightforward. At anytime in your act, put your feet together and levitate three to four inches off the floor. It's as simple as that. No crouching down. No involved get-ready. No cover of any kind. No special angles. No special lighting. No weight limitation. No distance problems. No nothing. And, you can show them the bottoms of your shoes before and after the levitation. Perform it inside or outside. In a living room or on the street corner. Words cannot describe how good and how practical On Thin Air is. You have to experience it for yourself and see what a powerful effect it has on your audience! You get everything you need to perform this fabulous effect: The specially made gimmicks and a fully photo illustrated manuscript that walks you through the routine, step by step. You must do a little bit of work at home. But I promise it will take you less than ten minutes and will not cost you a penny. On Thin Air is a truly incredible self-levitation. And, we are so pleased that Ray Noble has given us the exclusive. So, you will find it here at Hank Lee's and nowhere else! Once again, I can't recommend "The Elevator" enough. Peace, Rick

Rick,
Is this gimmick hard to practice? |

I don't have it...I was just posting it here. As for balance on the elevator, registered users of the Elevator can get a booklet full of so much info...it tells all about balance problems, etc.

Rich, you really can't say it is worse then the elevator. Post your opinion after you have it.

Rich, how can you say it's not as good as "The Elevator," if you haven't seen it?

What if you bought an Elevator and used it with On Thin Air, could you get six to eight inches off the ground?
What if you used both of them in conjunction with the Balducci? Would that get you even higher? Has anyone tried using all of these new self levitations together at the same time? I bet if you did you could get several feet off the ground.

Buying all the levitations at that price and one might end up several feet BELOW the ground. |

There are 2 threads on retro-gravity still active. Both are in this section, the reason they are not at the top is 4-11 is the last posting.

Hello everyone,
It seems that I have been stirring things up. I was informed that I have copied another levitation called retro-gravity. This is not the case. It is funny that in the magic world, there are people who will try anything to stop others from marketing effects that comes close to theirs. After all they have a lot to lose. If they control the market on an effect then their pocket books will benefit. I have not talked bad about anyone, and will not now. I will say that being strong armed and threaten of being sued is not a nice feeling. A certain magic dealer is now going through the same thing that I did. It comes down to the fact that a od was mention in an out of print book that is very close to mine. This od has never been on the market, but this person claims to hold all manufactory rights to anything and everything on a self levitation. I remember as a kid I read a book about men going to the moon. Does this mean, that the person who wrote this book, now holds all manufactory rights to all space ships? Sounds silly doesn't it. I have checked with a lawyer and is was agreed that a copy right and a patent are two different things. Those who are trying to bully people are just blowing smoke. They don't have a leg to stand on. Yes, I did promise not to release my od. This was before I received an e-mail explaining how the retro-gravity worked from these same people. This levitation is no way like mine. I was told that they were not going to release a od like mine for years! I still have two booklets and gimmicks out there in Café land that may be getting past around. Funny, how an improved levitation is going to come out. For anyone that would like to get my od of levitating, just E-mail me. The first 30 people will get it for $60. plus shipping. I will also send you a copy of the e-mail that I recieved explaining the other levitation so that you will see they are not the same. I have nothing to hide. By sending a copy of the e-mail I am not exposing anything, after all, the od was already mention in an out of date book. Ray Noble |

What is an out of date book? Do you mean one for which the copyright is expired? (75-90 years)

I think that he was saying, an out of print book.
I am not picking sides, but it does seem that there are people who will try and stop at nothing to keep a market to themselves. |
