I'm busy working on MonkeyShine Volume Two. One of the entries in the book is a little item I call the Failure Deck. It's not a trick per se, but a concept that virtually guarantees the standard "magician in trouble" card trick plot will get the strongest reaction possible. It's definitely a "worker" kind of idea that I've used for about 20 years.
I've put it in my latest email e-newsletter, which will be sent out Friday, January 23. If you'd like to learn it, go here http://www.dixonmagic.com/page2/page2.php and sign up for the newsletter. Best, DD |

Thanks to all of you who signed up the newsletter. The issue with the Vol. 2 book excerpt (Failure Deck) went out 2 am Saturday after I got home from a gig. If you signed up after that, sorry, but I promise the next newsletter will have some good stuff, too. (So why not sign up now so you don't miss out?)
BTW, I've updated http://www.dixonmagic.com a little over the past few days to make ordering and just getting around the site a little easier. I'll be posting another video in a week or so. if you'd like to see some of the early reviews from some of the first readers, go here: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......um=110&3 Best, DD |
