This isn't Origami, strictly speaking, but when I was a kid we used to make these folded paper triangles (you'd start with a standard 8.5 x 11 piece of paper, as I recall, not a square--we used looseleaf)that you would hold by one corner and sort of flick like casting a fishing rod to make the inside snap out with a very loud POP.
They were very simple to make, but I can't remember the exact steps. Anyone else familiar with these--and know of any site that shows how to fold them? --mike |

Yes but that is just a single pop popper! If you fold it over once more you can create a double pop!!!
