Picked this up last weekend at a magic convention ... seems cool. Has anyone ever used this with success? Any other routines? Seems like it can also be a "signed card to wallet?"
Thanks - john oleson |

I've been looking for Instant Pro by John Cornelius. The one place I found it didn't have any left. Does anyone know where I can get one? Thanks.

John - I have this effect somewhere stored away but have never used it.
From what I remember it's production is a bit 'tacky' - a plastic wallet with one of those cheap slimline gold/metal pens that only writes every third letter. Designed as a weird shaped 'notepad' (who honestly has ever carried one of these!) it reeks of 'gimmick'. I think I've posted about John Cornelius on here before. His expensive, chrome 'Pen Thru Anything' lasted about a month before the inner barrel fell out and the clip in the pen cap went kaput. Thought Transmitter lasted about 40 'goes' before the batteries expired and were so badly corroded within the wallet, they were impossible to replace. Unquestionably, John has had some excellent ideas. However, the quality of manufacture of the 3 products I've bought that carry his name leave one hell of a lot to be desired.

Still available. Very clever, and the props are just fine.
Wonder thinking on this one. |

It is probably the most deceptive while at the same time easy to do card to impossible location.

Just to put the alternative view - I've had no problems with Thought Transmitter or my Pen Through Anything. mind you,, I've never seen Instant Pro.

I'm honestly not trying to be a 'Bertie Big Bol**x' but I used these effects when I was working a hell of a lot semi-professionally and their manufacture and longevity just didn't cut the mustard.

I had this effect about 20 years ago, but sold it.
Now, I’d like to get my hands on it again as I have an idea that I think I can use the props for. Anyone got one lurking in a bottom drawer? |
