I'll offer mentalist it has a different meaning in the uk i.e. crazy mental person (humerous, not in a rude context) everytime someone says it I cant help but laugh

I heard Obama use "imprimatur" in a press conference earlier today (just before he found that guy's wallet which was sort of a funny thing to see ... he should have just kept it, and no one would be the wiser ... heh, at least we now know that he is an honest President).

Maybe it is not all that weird but "imprimatur" sure looks funny to me when it is written out, and it certainly seems underused these days. I don't much hear it bandied about in normal conversation.
