I got a deck from Martini. They're beautiful.

I bought multiple decks from Marty last year and he included a trick to get started with. Beyond that, pick up a copy of Randy Wakeman's book, "The Rainbow Deck." That'll give you plenty of ideas.

Neil Lester still carries a Rainbow Deck routine called, "Face The Facts". This is a quasi fortune telling effect utilizing a special rainbow deck that is hilarious. It came from the fertile mind of the late Bob Haines, impresarioof the original "13 Invitationals". It is fairly self working however learning the script may prove daunting, but you guys can do it.

Man, I didn't know this was a marketed item...
I love the trick, but, as posted above, how do you buy 52 different collector decks?...
This answered my question...Thanks WilburrUK...
Your indicated website for this is inactive, but do a search....It's available elsewhere...

I was visiting my local magic store and noticed a rainbow deck and dvd combo. Anybody know anything about this and what it teaches? Like Jordini above, I was hoping for the trick where you have prediction card in an envelope then have two cards selected, one for color, the other for value. Your prediction matches the color and value chosen. Is this what you are getting or is it something different. The deck is bicycle and looks very nice. Any info would be appreciated.

The fact that this whole topic has come up is unfortunate. In the publishing business there is no such thing as a copyrite on a phrase or a title. So, if I wanted to publish a book tomorrow with the smae title as a current best seller, I could.

Unfortunately, that has an impact on us a consumers, especially as consumers of magic. How often have we seen great tricks simply renamed and resold by third parties. Or, as in the case here, the same name reused and the consumer left hanging.

I found this review on the Magic Makers site:

The Rainbow Deck Routine is the most visually stunning card effect in magic! Although this deck is used by top professionals, it is easy to learn and suitable for even a beginner in magic!

This instructional dvd will teach you several ways to use your Magic Makers Rainbow Deck.

Marty Grams & Rudy T. Hunter will show you step-by-step instructions on everything you need including the special gaffed cards that are included with the deck!

Here are the tricks taught:

Frank Garcia's Original Routine
Rainbow Hot Rod
Jack Ro Bats
Rainbow Joker Variation
Rise, Rise, Rise
Rainbow Variation

Here is a link to the demo page: http://www.magicmakersinc.com/demovideos.html

You have to scroll down a bit to find it, but it might help you make up your mind if you want this or not. Seems pretty cool to me.

Take care all,

Derrick

This is the one I have. It is very good and the card backs look great when spread out. I use the Garcia routine and although it's nothing challenging for a magician, it does have a strong effect on spectators and is is very eye-popping when the multi-coloured deck is spread.

Hey Lord Freddie, Jack Ro Bats routine is also very powerful, dealing with four cards that change front and back in a very good manner.
Anyway does the deck comes alone or is it a combo with the dvd?
All I want to buy is the deck in bicycle design!

I believe you can buy the deck on it's on too. I know here in the UK that http://www.worldmagicshop.co.uk did offer that option and the stand-alone deck was £5 cheaper.
You are correct Almazer, Jack-Ro-Bats is a very good routine and alarmingly simple to perform despite the powerful effect it has.

Their site is down at the moment as the shop is undergoing changes. Not sure if this is the stand-alone deck or includes DVD, but you can get it here:
