Simon Says by Simon Lovell is a book I keep coming back to. You could build a career just on the routines in this book. But someone already has . . .

Lawrence,
I've had the Lou Gallo book for years. I've never been able to get into this book. I pick it up every few years and I STILL can't get excited about it. What is it about this book that turns you on? Personally I think it's underrated for a reason, but I'd like to hear your view. Thanks, Ed |

I'm going to second The Magic Digest, by George B. Anderson. Great stuff.

Many of the books named here are highly rated, not under rated. Here's one that most people have never heard of: Illusions Illustrated by James Baker. Its aimed at kids yet includes two professional calibur complete shows.

ParaLies by Joshua Quinn has not generated nearly as much discussion on the boards as I would have anticipated.
Some people hear voices.. Some see invisible people.. Others have no imagination whatsoever.
