Does anyone know where I can find Frank's coin box work in print? I hear really good things about his work. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Joe

Yooo Joe,
Don't quote me on this but I believe he may have a routine or two in Ellis Poland's Wonderful Routines In Magic.

Now why didn't I think of that? Smile

I did a search but came up empty.

Have you tried elsewhere? ie. Google, etc.? Here's one I found:

He does seem fairly elusive. Good luck. Smile

Magicalaurie, Thanks so much! Glad someone is willing to share some info on Frank.

Do you do any coin box work? If so PM me. I might have something you'd be interested in.

Thanks again,
Joe

The item that appeared in Apocalypse, referenced by Denis Behr, may well be the only Frank Thompson Okito Box sequence in print. One of my first mentors in magic was Cy Keller, a Baltimore area magician, who was familiar with much of Frank Thompson's work. He showed me an idea or two with the Okito Box that he credited to Thompson, but most of what we discussed was with cards.

Thanks for the info. Are you in the Balt md area? I often attend lectures at Denny & Lee's.

Mystre71,

I'm from the Silver Spring area, but I've attended a number of the lectures at Denny's. I'll try to find you next time.

Thanks Reonaru,
I had sent a PM to Mr Gallo before starting this thread, but never received a reply. I'm guessing he's really busy and didn't have a chance to respond.

Thanks,
Joe
