Asher Twist is great. Just with some angle limitation that can only be best performed in close-up situation.

I am actually playing around with a trick that uses only four cards..
I will either use four kings or four random cards.. I do not know if this is published.. but a friend showed it to me, and it works nearly every time.. Effect: 4 kings.. Think of one.. Show them cleanly.. Ask them the name of the king they though of.. BOOM.. all the other kings vanish and you are left with the suit they chose. How? Alternating color.. Spread them with the backs towards you so that they can see the pips well ( sub-consciously they are having a 'free thought of choice') stroke your hand acreoss the pips and ask them think of one. They always think of the one ( I'd say 8/10 times) that is positioned third from the top.. The other times it'll be the card positionedsecond from the top.. so.. the 2 middle cards. At this point, I break at center of the 4 cards and do an Elmsley count.. This brings both of the 2 middle cards to the top if you want a sure-fire guarrantee. Just ditch the rest and you should know the rest... Try it out.. Guarantee you it works. |

Jay Sankeys Revolution Aces is quite pretty...
Can look a bit fiddly though, quite a lot of practice has to go into the sleight if it is to look natural. |

Sanverted Ace's is a standard for me! I DO like Jack's Blind Lemon Ace's and have been putting in some practice time on it as well!

Pineapple Twist by Scotty York, it is on one of his videos. He starts by cutting to the aces from a shuffled pack. Then he goes into Twisting the aces, then pineapple twist, then Dr. Daley's. He then ends with a bit where a selected card vanishes from the deck, and appears sandwhiched between the 4 aces. I use it quite frequently, it is very effective.
Also, Dan Fleshman had a great oil & water routine on his restaurant dvd's. It uses the 4 aces and an extra card. It's a great 3 phase bit, that may actually be originally by Nick Trost. I'm not sure, as I have not seen the Trost effect. Fleshman mentions that he first saw the effect performed by Tom Ogden. With these, plus overature, I think you'll have a great routine! Good luck. |

I can't believe Henry Christ's Fabulous Four Aces isn't amongst the set. It's in mine - right between Daley and Twisting

Roger or Paul,
Could you provide a source for Christ's Fabulous Four Aces? I am not familiar with this four-ace handling. Thanks, Angelo |

Probably the best effect impromptu with just four regular aces has to be the invisible palm ace routine by Larry Jennings. The exact name of it escapes me now but it is from the Classic Magic of Larry Jennings.

NO ONES MENTIONED BULLET TRAIN by John Carney? Wow.
Easily the best thing you can do with just four cards. |
