Hi, all I was wondering what illusions one can build without stepping on anyone's toes.
It's a much debated subject so I want to know from the pros which illusions you can build without hurting anyone. Thanks JV |

The list would be so big as to what you CAN build, better to ask which ones you can't build. There are some resources which list the proprietry ones, on MagicAuction for example.

That makes me smile...not that I want to build these myself...But the fact that Head Over Heels and the Gamolo were explained and exposed by the moron. Don't build it because it would be a rip-off. But to explain it on national television won,t put you in court...ouch...

I know, but it's a thing called integrity.

I fully agree with you on that Blair. That's why I hate the moron so much. He has no respect for the art of magic. Almost every member of this website knows about respect and secrecy and how it is important for us. Just to think that we care about rip-offs, about knowing if we have the rights to build something and at the same time there's a moron shoming everything makes me think of only one thing: if one day I have a "chance to meet him in person", he won't be able to explain something as simple as a TT afertwards, if you see what I mean. Just hope he will read my post. Harsh words maybe, but hey, I,d have so much fun running after him in a casino or on Freemont street in Vegas. Hey...MM, if you can read this, I'll be in Vegas on August 20...

I just posted this response to another question, but it applies here as well in response to Blair Marshall's posting:
You might want to look at this website: http://www.magicauction.com/IllusionHotl......ghts.htm It is a "Who Owns the Rights" listing with an explanation. Here is another good list of resources and information on proprietary rights: http://www.zigmont.com/backstage.html :magicrabbit: |
