Yes, things change between August 2009 and March 2017.
John stopped his e-newsletter a while ago. I also think he stopped selling his Rebel Entertainers business course. As I've gotten to know him better over the years through Facebook, I've come to realize that he's a really nice guy, a busy performer (he has a neat little niche), and a clever marketer. I've seen him mention that he'll be speaking at "Performer Con" in California, at the end of March 2017.
