a question, what is your opinion (or anyone else's) about the effect called Rinky-Dink that uses a KEY??

Hi Shooz,

I used Rinkey Dinkey for years, but it had a few problems with it.

1. The line would wear down and eventually break.
2. It was sealed shut, I used to have to cut mine open to fix it, that meant that once glued back together, it looked awful. I used to have to melt black plastic around the edges to fill in the damage caused by cutting it open.
3. Because you couldn't open it, you couldn't oil it, so it became noisy.
4. IT SAID RINKEY DINKEY ON IT IN BIG LETTERS!! Why on the earth did they do that?????
5. The line was too short.
6. It didn't look like a car key.

All that said, it did the job and I used it for years. But only because I loved the effect and there was nothing else out there at the time.

Hence why I came up with the RFR.
