Hope you enjoy this revised version of my interactive card trick. I took the criticisms of earlier posts, and

I may be missing something; I've gotten it to work four out of twelve times.

The important part of this trick for it to work is at the beginning; where you must make sure you cut the deck almost exactly in half ( within the four cards in the center of the deck ). Yes, unfortunately that is a bit of a downfall of this trick - but I've found 90% of the time spectators are pretty good at getting this right. If you've cut the deck within these four center cards, the rest of the trick is guarantied to work if you follow the rest of the steps carefully.

Ah ha! That's great advice - thank you for following up. It would not be terribly difficult to convince the spec to cut more carefully, given the shuffling allowed beforehand. Thanks for posting.
