Any advise what opening patter I can use before I start performing the Linking Ring routine to the church audiences?
I will use 3 rings, and I think the understanding of Christian people on this doctrine could be one of the theme. A lot of believer are confused on why three is one and one is three, that could be probably described with the linking and unlinking effects. Would love to hear from you all though..

The most widely used gospel patter would be about the trinity and talking about how God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus are all distinct, yet One.

There's plenty of different theories on how to explain that.

I have also used them as showing how Christ was temped while in the mountains and how he always turned down the temptations and would not be chained down or shackled with those temptations.

When I link the two together and then give them to my guest to check them out and ask them to separate them and of course they can't, I use the scripture that nothing can separate you from the Love of God.

Not to place an ad here but I developed a DVD just to help folks tell the Gospel using the Linking Rings. HEre are the moves..

Creation- hold up a ring- God always was, no beginning or end
God- ring drop (Father sends Son who sends Spirit)
Savior- throw out (Jesus was given as a gift)
Cross- cross linked ("If I be lifted up...")
Sin- Flower/Globe ("What does it profit a man to gain the whole world..."
Judgement- Fainting flower (world will end and judgement will come)
Salvation- four leaf clover to trinity link (Being IN Christ)
New Birth- butterfly (new creation in Christ)
Church- link chain (One Body but many members)
Great Commission- lantern (let your light so shine...)

Someone posted good gospel patter using Chris Capeheart's 3 ring routine on the Magic Café. It works very well.
