Packs small, big laughs.
There's probably a million thread on lists of self working card tricks. Hopefully its no harm adding just one more. By Entertaining/Comedy Packet Trick, I am hoping find packet tricks that doesn't necessarily use normal bicycle cards. For example, the Joker falling off the bicycle trick. Bottom line is that I am hoping to find something that is visual and funny. Thanks people! P.S. There was one I saw by which spectator is asked to place their finger in the holes of one out of 3 cards. The hole is on a queen. But when its revealed, their fingers are through a naked man. Anyone knows the name of this one? (Do give a sleight explaination of the trick or a video would be wonderful!) |

You may be thinking about "Off With His Head" by David Regal. I wouldn't say it is hilarious but it is funny and the perfect "chick trick." The patter is designed to appeal to women and I must say that it does work quite well. Regal has another one you should check out called "Pure Filth." The kings and queens all end up on the same card. Regal provides a "clean" version of the patter but you can use your imagination to come up with a more R-rated version.

Shall further explain the effect again. The one I mentioned is something like a 3 card monte concept. Spectator is asked to keep their eyes on the Queen and ignore the other two random cards.
The performer then tells the spectator, to make it easier, I have made a hole in the middle of the Queen. So poke your finger through. The performer then attempts to shuffle the cards and ask the audience where is the queen? Just as the audience think he got it, its revealed that it is not the queen anymore, but a naked man and the audience finger is through his private part. |

YES. Similar Concept! But the only difference I guess is the character. The one I saw was colored and it looked a little more funky! But yes! This is what I've been refering to

Close's Clones. A picture of a clown is cloned until there are clown clones all over the place, with a very funny kicker ending that goes beyond the cards and right to the performer's face!

Some of the funniest packet tricks I do are HOLD IT BUSTER and END of Story.
Both last about three to four minutes and have great story lines. Another, is Kate, Stan, and Edith. Dan Archer has a nice ffect based upon Aliens too. |

Does anyone have a new slant on Alien Autopsy? I just received it and the patter they recommend is really a rhyme which really doesn't suit me. I'm looking more for a story than a rhyme. Any ideas?

I agree with Pete. Any trick can be made funny if you are funny. However, the opposite isn't necessarily true.

For "adult" audiences look up Paul Gordons 'The Dogs B*ll*x' and 'Effin Cannibals'.

I agree with "the web". Startling for some but comical for the audience.
I have a similar card effect described above with a little cartoon boy on the card.....called Big Red. I got this a long time ago with supplied patter on the concept of a little boy and his fix for the hole in a dyke. With a comical twist where many people think that he put his finger in the hold to save the town from being flooded, but in actuallity it was......another part of his anatomy. |
