Richard is a hero of mine. But this seminar is in the middle of nowhere, it's really less than three days and I think it would have made much more sense to start it on Friday and end it late Sunday afternoon. So although it's killing me to pass this up, pass it up I will.

Rocketeer,
Sorry you feel that way, but Waterbury, CT is within driving distance of New York, Massachusetts and New Jersey as well as the fact that Connecticut has quite a few performers itself. Bradley International Airport is not far from the hotel and I constantly fly into Connecticut from Kentucky for fares around 300 or less. As far as the dates go, it starts on Thursday night, goes all day Friday and Saturday and ends on Sunday morning. There are lectures on both Thursday night and Sunday morning. So it actually has events going on over 4 days. Richard |

Rocketeer,
I visit Waterbury as often as once a month. Its 2.5 hours by car from my home in central NJ, So from Westchester, it shouldn't be that bad.
Best regards,

I did a lecture in Hastings-on-Hudson just a couple of years ago and it was only 1.5 hours from CT.
As far as the observation that Waterbury is in the middle of nowhere, that's kind of how I felt when I did that lecture... <grin> Richard already addressed the other inaccuracies. |

I am in california and can't go - but if I was anywhere close
THIS LOOKS GREAT. I bought the BCS a few months ago and it is the coolest thing - wow, the secret and the method are almost better than the effects. |

I just sent in my deposit, and can't wait to go.
BTW, I was at this hotel a couple of years ago with my family and another family with young kids for the water park, and it's just great. I live in Westchester County, NY, and I recall the drive being only about an hour or so. Best, Larry Zaslow

For those that are interested, I will be a guest lecturer at Richard's seminar next month.
I'll be presenting a lecture on my upcoming book on billet workers Bert Reese and Charles Foster. This will be a powerpoint presentation with many rare graphics and history of billet work from 1860-1936. In the past four years researching the book (which I hope to have out by the end of this year), I've been able to uncover many fascinating things about billet work that are not only historical but some of the actual work that was being done then and is substantially unknown today. Reese and Foster were not stage entertainers but worked seances and did readings for the rich and famous. Even by 1880 the one-ahead technique (which I believe Foster invented), was well known and yet both Reese & Foster were still able to fool their sitters with their advanced applications of it. In addition, I will be teaching one of my original billet routines that I was able to fool many members of the Legendary 13 which I'm sure you will like. I presented this talk at Jeff McBride's mentalism workshop this past November and was quite thrilled with the response to it. Hope to see you at Richard's seminar in February! Bobby Torkova |

Gentlemen and ladies,
We have made some important changes in our seminar in February. We have a better hotel with better hotel rooms, better rates, a better restaurant and tavern and a better meeting room. Please visit this link: http://archive.constantcontact.com/fs047......765.html to see the hotel and the detailed agenda for the event. Thanks, Richard |
