Greetings Pete-
Thank you from a fellow Professional performer for so much good advice you
have given myself over the years-appreciated
Pete -In one post to me a few yearsback you mentioned Al Koran and why he used a couple of effects
at a specific point in his act etc
Having never seen Al Koran Perform could you enlighten us as to What he was like as a Performer, his act
and what made him the star he was as a friend & as a Entertainer in the UK & the US where he settled..

He was a very classy guy, well dressed and spoke like an English Gentleman.
In his lectures, he opened with something like, "Don't buy any more magic tricks, spend as much as you can on your wardrobe. You have to be the 'best dressed' person in the room.
His magic was simple and direct and he did material that audiences could follow.
There's a video somewhere out there of his performance on the Ed Sullivan Show.
