Pete, did you see his very first TV special? If so, what were your first thoughts?

If it was the one where he appeared in the Dallas Cowboy's locker room, yes.

I thought it was great, in that he DISCOVERED what really worked on TV -- showing the spectator's reactions.

To me what tricks anyone does is secondary... what I feel is the key is the way it is presented, and the way the people react.
