Did you know "the Senator" Clarke Crandall well? Do you have any stories? I met him at the Castle in the late 1960's or early 1970's, I forget which. I saw his X-Rated midnight show in the Parlor of Prestidigitation I believe. I know it was "underground." Anyway when I was there he was by far the kindest magician I met (I think he was in charge at the time), and hippy freak that I was, he nonetheless made me feel welcome.

Also wonder about Francis Carlyle, who forced cards on me for half an hour in the Castle library. I also got to see Goshman's act. Lucky me, huh?

You no fool... seeing Crandall, Carlyle and Goshman are dreams come true. I'm swamped right now and will think on some things to say in the morning. Thanks for bringing up three of the all-time greats.
