Hello Pete,
I also appreciate a lot of your interventions here in The Café.
As you have travelled and performed all over the world, I wondered if you have noticed a lot of difference how magic is performed and perceived in different continents?

When I first travelled 90% of the overseas close up workers were mediochre... these days they are AWESOME.

Stage and Cabaret work, and TV, seems to be booming still, as variety acts are considered "artistes" and held in higher respect than here.

I haven't been to Asian countries in a long time, but the acts coming out of that region have become frightenly good.
