Here is an update to my surgery. I am scheduled to go in tomorrow 2/24/10 and have my Back Surgery at 10:45 a.m.

Please keep my wife and I in your prayers as we go through this most difficult time as I will not be able to perform for 1-year. Please Pray for strength and our finances, as well as the strength for my wife to cope with the surgery.

Thank You to all who have responded and have said prayers for my wife and I. The surgery went well and all is good. The Doctor said everything went fine and I have already been up and moving around. I am in pain and I feel really sore but that should go away in time.

I am sending this from my I-Phone so I hope it goes through.

Praying for you Rodney!

Well, it has been 8 days since my surgery. I am doing well and I am finally able to get around a little bit. It feels as though I have been beaten to death. I never knew surgery was this tough on the body. Recovery will be slow and gradual. Thank "ALL" of you for your prayers. Please keep my wife in your prayers as she is having a tougher time than I am with the surgery. She now has to teach elementary school all day then come home take care fo me, cook dinner, grade papers and so on. The burden on her is extremely high.
