I'm seriously considering this one. I immediately thought of a John Carney Routine I've always wanted to play with using a similar idea. I'm wondering how this is going to look close up? Thoughts?

I'd prefer to see it for real rather than on a video - I think it's difficult to decide upon it's usefulness/effectiveness by that clip alone.
As for the coin floating across the chest - to be honest, I think it looks bloody geeky!

Im not sure whether I think it's daft or brilliant. I'm leaning towards brilliant.....for
comedy, not sure as a serious piece of magic. |

What's up Eric! This is pretty hot, thanks for posting this. I'm not sure if this is the Carney effect you had in mind but I can see this working well with Carney's routine, Up My Sleeve, from his book, Secrets. I could also see this being effective for 3 Fly routines. If you do wind up getting this can you please give us a review here? I'm curious to know how practical is this device. Thanks again!

Carney's effect on his DVD is called "Bullet Train", and it's a four aces up-the-sleeves deal. It would be wicked awesome with this gimmick, for the last ace's flight.
Would love to know how practical this is. Looks good on the video. Scott. |

Looks very interesting! ideas are popping up! I guess cards can be used, but it seems like it doesn't belong in this thread as you can use any small object

Personally I wouldn't opt for this for close-up. It looks like a much better stage magic effect. From a short distance this could look really neat, I think, but up close I feel like it would lose some of it's spooky illusion-y effect.
For some reason this mechanic makes me think of Jeff McBride's style of performance magic.

Has anyone bought this? I would have thought such an item would have a review or at the very least someone slagging it off!

I think it looks great and 'spooky' for stage or parlour. Not sure about close up. Might lose it's eerie quality.
