I was wondering if 'The Stealth Wallet' is the same wallet as 'The Stealth Assasin'. I was also wondering if you have to buy the DVDs in order to get the wallet.
Thanks. |

1. There are different
2. You buy the Wallet, and as an extra, you get the DVDs

I've been trying other wallets, but I keep coming back to my Stealth Assassin. I think it's marvelous. Extremely versatile.
Those considering the Assassin should be aware that in its outside appearance it looks like a rather large business card case, although internally it has many types of pockets, including staggered slots for credit cards. When it's loaded with a couple of credit cards and some business cards it appears quite normal when it's opened. It's not a billfold-style wallet and there's no pocket that can hold unfolded bills lengthwise. Since most of the best effects for this wallet are done with business cards or billets (and it can accommodate other cards such as ESP, Animania, etc.) I find this a logical type of wallet to use for what I'm pulling out of it (and I'm fine pulling out some folded bills for an effect like the Cash Cabaret routine found on the DVDs). I've never had anyone question it or call it anything but a "wallet". Check out http://www.stealthassassin.com for pictures. All that said, the Assassin is absolutely my favorite wallet. I love it, and I've bought a second as a backup. Highly recommended.

I believe the Stealth was the original - the SAW is the improved version.

There are a lot of excellent features in the Stealth Assasin and it is also an ideal size to slip into your pocket. I use this wallet a lot.

Okay. Stealth assasin sounds amazing, with the new features and DVDs ect, but one things that highly puts me off it by the sounds of it is the style/size of it.
I was wondering if just the 'Stealth wallet' looks more like a modern day billfold? and if it is still great for getting a peek at a busines card, for lets say.. a name ect. I was also wondering if the peek feature is different from that on the JOL+ wallet? Thanks. |

I believe the Stealth and the Stealth Assassin have the same design and appearance, but the Assassin has many features added.
The Stealth offers one peek method, and that method is different than the one used by the JOL Plus wallet. The Assassin adds an additional peek method that's similar to the JOL Plus, both of which are similar to the Sight Unseen wallet.

I used the Stealth Assassin as my everyday wallet. It generally works fine, but the bills have to stuck in the center compartment so they are half exposed. Honestly, I'd rather it had a full length compartment, but that's not how it's designed and I've managed to make it work. (If you go the Stealth Assassin site you can see it with bills coming out.) It is not an especially large wallet, if you are worried about the size.
They used to sell the Stealth Assassin -- perhaps only to those who previously bought it -- without the DVDs. You might call/email Alakazam and see if they still do that. |

I LOVE the Stealth Assassin Wallet!!! About 90% of the time I go out I have it on me. A lot of the times I just carry it as my one and only wallet... I'll have my ID, one credit card and some cash and the rest is set up for effects. LOVE THIS WALLET!!!
I recently sent two new ideas to Marc. Who knows? In the future there might be a new collection of ideas from multiple performers on the uses of this wallet. I can only hope. Greg

The Assassin is indeed significantly more expensive. I think it's worth it as with its multiple peek options, billet index and Out To Lunch principle it's very easy to set up the Assassin to be ready to do at least five or six very different effects. The SUC principle itself can be used for more than just peeks, as explained on the DVDs. With the original Stealth's one peek method you'd be limited, I think, to whatever you could do with that style of peek plus whatever you could carry in the wallet that didn't need the wallet to work (e.g., ESP cards). The Stealth peek IS very good and can be done more or less surrounded, and strong routines can be developed with this peek. If you think one or two good effects requiring the wallet is enough, go for the Stealth. If you'd like the option of having more of a "Swiss Army Knife" of mentalism options in one wallet, go for the Assassin.

With all those gaffed wallets around, I can't help wondering why ANY of those wallets seems to have a compartment for change.
My everyday wallet holds change and I would want to use a peek wallet as a normal wallet, and for me, that includes coins. |

Most men's wallets in the US do not have a change compartment. Most of us carry change in a pants pocket. Evidently, this isn't the case in the UK??????

Belgian wallets do
But in this big world, we're a small minority, of course On the other hand, I had no idea that wallets in other countries were different. I thought it was just a quirk of those gaffed wallets. |
