Hi,
I bought an excellent trick from Barry Mitchell, called InPOPsible. Do anybody have a gospel routine for this trick? Greetings, Torben, Denmark |

Is it the balloon prediction item?

No, it's a trick with a Coca Cola bottle and a magic wand.

What is the effect basically about?
The difficult must become easy, the easy beautiful and the beautiful magical.

You have got a Coke bottle and a magic wand. The magic wand fits into the bottle, but in one end of the wand you put 2 bolts, and then it's impossible to put into the bottle. You explain that you need an opener - and then you take the magic wand and drops the wand down into the bottle. And then you hold the wand with the bottle hanging on the wand - because the end with the bolts is now inside the bottle.

Sounds like a great effect! Different kind of plot.
The difficult must become easy, the easy beautiful and the beautiful magical.

For the record....the trick is by David Allen...NOT Barry Mitchell. Barry promoted it, David created it and manufactured them.

Barry might have a Gospel plot for it! I would contact him.

According to the explanation the creater of the trick is called David Spier.
I already asked Barry, but he didn't write a gospel routine. Torben |

Torben, David Spier is David Allen he's a VERY good friend of mine...
As for a gospel routine...maybe talk about how sometimes in life, we encounter situations that are tough and can seem impossible (much like getting this wand and bolts through the neck of this glass coke bottle..which would be more "inPoPsible") but as long as we cling to our faith, God will help us through ANY situation...no matter how impossible or hard it may seem. He's the great miracle worker, and to him, there is no limits to possibility. |

Maybe you can use it for an illustration on the meaning of Jesus' teaching about the camel going through the eye of a needle (Matthew 19:24). In 19:25 - just after Jesus uses the comparison - the disciples respond, "Then who can be saved?" "By human power , it is impossible," says Jesus. Then he offers a glimmer of hope: "With God, anything is possible."
