This won't be ready for about a month or so as the DVD is being finished up now (Chris Ballinger did the DVDs and has done an amazing job), have to coordinate it all, etc.
There will essentially be two new products: 1) the old Wow will be re released as Wow 2.0 (Face Up) with a DVD (which includes Paul Gertner's great idea with a cell phone) at a more affordable price ($39.95). Same great item but better price (both versions will retail for $39.95), better production, includes the DVD, and has some other material such as Paul Gertner's wonderful idea used with his blessing. Paul's idea was getting raves at all of his lectures and with good reason. 2) the NEW Wow 2.0 (Face Down or Back Version) will also be released. THIS IS THE HOT THING TO LOOK FOR. Everyone who has seen this has raved about it. It's SOOOO good. (note that an ungimmicked Wow is also available…I have included a really good idea on the Face Down version that uses this and apparently allows the Wow gimmcik to be exanmined in a very clean manner- there are NO instructions with teh ungimmicked Wow) See the ad copy for both items below..... WOW 2.0 (Face Down Version) Wow 2.0 truly looks like trick photography. This is THE strongest, most visible, and most practical ending to ANY Ambitious Card routine ever! Imagine at the end of your favorite Ambitious Card Routine, you offer to “magician-proof” the deck to create an impossible condition. A translucent piece of plastic is placed on top of the ordinary face-down deck to isolate the cards and preclude the magician from any “tricky business.” The selected card is signed by multiple spectators to avoid the thought of a confederate. The signed card is placed FACE UP into the center of the face-down deck. This is all rubber banded together so the magician cannot do any sleight of hand. Finally, the deck is placed onto a SPECTATOR'S palm-up hand. What happens next is nothing short of a miracle… The audience SEES the FACE-UP, signed card SLOWLY and VISIBLY rise through the face-down deck. It slowly and visibly appears on top of the face-down deck. There are no trick decks, no trick cards, no difficult handling – as close to real magic as you can get. The spectators will scream in amazement. Many top magicians such as David Blaine, Paul Harris, Dean Dill, David Penn, and others have raved about this trick. You will LOVE Wow 2.0 and you will USE Wow 2.0. As a bonus, you will learn the most visible color-changing decks ever -- a slow, visible change that is amazing. Wow 2.0 is one of the most astonishing pieces of magic you will ever do. Easy, visual, and stunning -- you will do it just to amuse yourself and marvel at its effect. Includes instructional DVD and Face Down Wow 2.0 gimmick. WOW 2.0 (Face Up Version) Wow 2.0 is THE most visible and amazing card change ever. It happens slowly and right before your eyes. Wow 2.0 is hailed by magicians around the world as one of the most amazing card effects they have ever seen. This looks like trick photography but happens right before their eyes. A card is selected, signed, and lost in the deck. A random card is removed and fails to be the chosen card. This random card is inserted in a plastic sleeve to isolate it and avoid any chance of “tricky sleight of hand.” The card SLOWLY and VISIBLY changes to the signed selection. You will be blown away by how amazing this looks. After seeing this trick, Lance Burton simply said, “WOW!" He was at a loss for words, thus the name. Wow 2.0 (Face Up) now includes the gimmick and thorough instructional DVD. As a bonus, world renowned trade show performer Paul Gertner contributes an amazing effect where the magic moment is captured forever on a spectator’s phone – a souvenir they will talk about long after it is over. Wow 2.0 is one of the most amazing pieces of magic you will ever do. Easy, visual and stunning - you will do it just to amuse yourself and marvel at its effect. Includes instructional DVD and Face Up Wow 2.0 gimmick. |

Thanks for the update, Tim. Sounds great.
I've always felt that the spectator's signature materializing on the card was the best way to present this. And, now the card can be signed on the back. This could be the ambitious card ending I've been waiting for. Robert |

Will the ungimmicked WOW be sold at the same time? I have the old WOW and never got the fake WOW sleeve since I had a hard time finding them. These look interesting also and am looking to add to my collection.

Question to anyone that has, or has had WOW before.
I love the transition/fade aspect of the effect, but I was wondering if the change could happen in a faster way than I have seen on video clips? More like in a blink sort of way,or vis-versa (a card appears in a blink)? |

You have full control of the speed of the change when performing Wow. Based on my experience, the super-slow gradual fading type of change is much more impressive and dramatic than a fast blink-style change. But you can do either.

Mr. Masuda will be sending the initial order of the gimmicks to the USA around the 15- 20th of August. I'd guess it will take about a week to 10 days shipment barring any customs issues. At that point the DVDs, gimmicks, etc. have to be packaged/assembled together. I'd say roughly around mid September your favorite dealer should have it but don't hold me to it- just wanted to give you a ROUGH idea It will NOT be next week as was indicated by someone else. The DVD is finished, the gimmicks are being made, etc.
As a heads up, we have a large order BUT these are all hand finished and Mr. Masuda is doing all he can to get these in a timely manner. He has hired on additional people and is working around the clock. My point is this- get your order in now as it will take time if we run out before more come in. They will continue to make units but the demand is already huge. Tim |

For the face-up gimmick, is it going to be any different from the original WOW gimmick?

Hi MagicianDM.
The face up version is the same except: 1) it will be more affordable 2) it will now include a very good DVD produced by Chris Ballinger as well as superior packaging designed by Ben Harris. 3) it will include Paul Gertner's fantastic effect with the face up Wow and a borrowed cell phone (this item is great and worth the price of the package!) The face down version KILLS. It includes one of the best endings to the ambitious card routine as well as a superb color changing deck. I hope that helps. Tim |
