I just bought some fakinis and I love them! The only problem is that they tend to slip out of my fingers a lot more than my old set. Is there any tip to keep this from happening? Or a way to limit how much my hands sweat?

It was usually enough to soap up my hands at the bathroom sink and then just use my soapy hands to "wash" the Fakini balls and shell. Treating the hands with rosewater and glycerine--or even just cold water--before each performance also helped.

Yep, I do card and BB manips, my hands sweat (fear? lol) so I take a damp hand towel with me, and a few minutes before going on stage I just give them a good ol rub on the hand towel.

Do you rub your hands or the fakinis with the towel?

My hands, but I regularly wash the Fakinis under cold water, then dry them off (nothing else, just cold water).
This washing of the Fakinis does improve their 'stickability'. Every now and again I will give them a clean with washing up liduid in warm/hotwater, just to keep them clea, especially the white ones. Hope that helps, but I'm sure others have their own ways that suit them equally well. Best wishes, Dave
